I Saw Them First!

Just like the cast of the  Sopranos or a Christopher Guest flick, great support makes the star shine even brighter. Some of my favorite  concert memories are of great bills, from top to bottom, and often bands I hadn’t heard of at the time. For example, the Red Hot Chili Peppers “Californication” tour back in 1999 featured the Foo Fighters who were riding high on their latest release There’s Nothing Left to Lose and their enormous smash hit “Learn to Fly.” Those two bands sold the tickets.
