Pat Metheny Unity Group at Maryland Hall This Weekend!

Pat Metheny’s versatility is almost nearly without peer on any instrument. Over the years, he has performed with artists as diverse as Steve Reich to Ornette Coleman to Herbie Hancock to Jim Hall to Milton Nascimento to David Bowie.  Metheny’s body of work includes compositions for solo guitar, small ensembles, electric and acoustic instruments, large orchestras, and ballet pieces, with settings ranging from modern jazz to rock to classical. Ace Frehley of KISS on November 18 at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis!

Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley invaded the 8-track machines and cassette decks of millions of teenagers and twenty-somethings as a member of what might be the most colorful — and wildly successful — rock n’ roll band ever. “Space Ace” will bring four decades of music wherewithal to Rams Head On Stage for a performance at 8 p.m. Nov. 18. Annapolis native Jimi Davies will open the show in support of Frehley. Frehley’s membership in KISS lasted nine years, from 1973-82.
