Rams Head Volunteers for National Aquarium

On Friday, May 29th, leadership from the Rams Head Group volunteered at the wetland restoration event at Masonville Cove.  Coordinated through our partnership at the National Aquarium, the weekend planting brought out 51 volunteers and 154 students to plant about 17,600 plugs of wetland grasses.   The plants help to create a living shoreline that will provide multiple ecosystem services, as well as habitat for wildlife. Rams Head betting on Black Eyed Susan Day

On May 15th, 2015 The Rams Head Group had the honor of presenting the 43rd Running of The Hilltop Stakes at Black-Eyed Susan Day at Pimlico. The mile and one-eighth test, for three-year-old fillies is traditionally run the Friday before the Preakness. The race was first graded in 1973 and has been a Grade II event since 1976. The Black-Eyed Susan has long been recognized as the middle jewel of the traditional filly Triple Crown, which also includes the Kentucky Oaks Stakes (at Churchill Downs) and the Acorn Stakes (at Belmont Park). Only three fillies: Wistful (1949), Real Delight (1952), and Davona Dale… Read More >
