We Heart Blues Music

This photo of Robert Johnson is one of my favorites and truly captures the spirit of the early, “Deep South” Blues, and is probably one of the most recognized images representing this era. Robert Johnson’s guitar, songwriting and vocal skills have gone down in history as a major influence of many musicians throughout the years, including Muddy Waters, The Rolling Stones, Johnny Winter, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, and many more. It’s time to air out the tents, dust off the seats and gear up to Rock the Docks at Pier Six Pavilion on the Inner Harbor all summer! Rams Head Announces First 3 Pier Six Shows of 2013

It’s time to start making your plans to Rock the Docks with us at Pier Six Pavilion! We have now announced the first three shows of the 2013 season: We are beyond excited to welcome the legendary Sting to Pier Six for the first time on June 12. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, famous for his time as lead singer of The Police, as well as his illustrious solo career, brings his “Back To Bass” tour to Baltimore this Summer. Sting recently celebrated his 25th anniversary as a solo artist with a career spanning box set.
