We’re all wondering where September went and how October snuck up on us BUT we’re ready to celebrate our favorite season once again with MORE BEER. The Fordham and Dominion Octoberfest Beer Release Party is next Thursday, October 5, from 4 to 7 pm. Octoberfest is a traditional Marzen brewed with eight types of imported German malts and three hop varieties. It is noted for smooth caramel notes and crisp bitterness. CHEESEtoberfest Oct. 7 at Fordham & Dominion

Say CHEESE-toberfest! Cheesetoberfest is an all-out, no holds barred, Grilled Cheese/Mac N Cheese competition, being held at Fordham & Dominion Brewing featuring 20 local restaurants battling it out to see who will be this year’s Grand Cheezmo! An oompah band will provide the entertainment and lederhosen-clad brewery staff will be pouring Octoberfest, Spiced Harvest Ale, Oak Barrel Stout, Rams Head IPA, Copperhead Ale, and Helles Lager.​ 2017 competitors include Rams Head Shore House, Applebee’s, Brick Works Brewing and Eats, Doc Magrogan’s Oyster House, Fromage Culinaria, Gary’s Dewey Beach Grill, The Greene Turtle, The Little Grocer, Matt’s Fish Camp, and The Hungry Spork.
