Rams Head and Annapolis Musicians Fund For Musicians celebrate another successful run of the annual tradition, “An Annapolis Christmas”!

On Monday and Tuesday, December 12th & 13th, Rams Head On Stage hosted the 18th Annual Annapolis Christmas Fundraising Concerts to benefit the local organization, Annapolis Musicians Fund For Musicians (AMFM). And what a great couple of nights for all involved! AMFM is a non-profit organization that was created to provide temporary financial relief to professional Annapolis musicians who cannot work due to sickness, injury, or any other circumstance leaving them unable to perform. This fund acts as an emergency relief fund for lost income. Esperanza Spalding presents Emily’s D+ Evolution at Maryland Hall – October 9th!

Rams Head is thrilled to announce an exceptional presence at Maryland Hall on October 9th!. Four time Grammy award winner Esperanza Spalding, a stunning composer, bassist and vocalist with grace like no other. The Oregon born and raised musician was a child prodigy playing with the Chamber Music Society of Oregon at the young age of five. At just 15 she was a concertmaster, composing her own music and playing the acoustic bass professionally with local bands and at 20 she became Berklee College of Music’s youngest- ever instructor. In 2011 Spalding made music history becoming the first jazz musician to win Best New Artist in the Grammy’s, beating out artists such as Justin Bieber, Florence and the Machine, and Drake.
