My favorite moments:
I really enjoyed the performances that George Strait and The Doobie Brothers gave! (okay how awesome did Michael MacDonald sound when they performed Takin’ It To The Streets”!?)
I also enjoyed Vince Gill’s acceptance speech (very touching, and sweet watching wife Amy Grant’s reaction). And I did enjoy Carrie Underwood’s 11 wardrobe changes! (Ohhh, Ahhhh)
My least favorite moment:
I’m sorry, I just don’t enjoy Ariana Grande. I’m not a fan of her vocals in general, and I just didn’t get why she was there.
But I hate to end on a negative! So let’s revisit the George Strait/Eric Church performance:
So there you have it. Until next year! Or until the next awards show… the AMAs on November 23rd!
