This Weekend at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis

Made your weekend plans yet? We’ve got a roarin’, rockin’ ‘n’ rollin’ weekend of great shows lined up!

Blackhawk & The Outlaws
Friday, September 26 @ 8pm

The Outlaws TF

For 40 years, Southern Rock legends The Outlaws have celebrated triumphs and endured tragedies but remain one of the most influential and best-loved bands of the genre.  And with a dozen top ten hits including two number ones to their credit and album sales that exceed 7 million records, BlackHawk continues to carve out their own place in music history.

This show will seriously rock, people. We even have had to build a bigger stage for them. Come see for yourselves.

Twenty eight years after their T-Bone Burnett produced debut Love & Hope & Sex & Dreams led them to win a Rolling Stone reader’s poll as Best New American Band, The BoDeans are still rocking and harmonizing gracefully, touring the U.S. regularly.

Here’s two great songs by these guys that you will recognize: “Closer To Free” and “Fadeaway”.

The Idol Kings: A Tribute To Tom Petty, Journey and John Mellencamp
Sunday, September 28 @ 7:30pm

THREE times the excitement, 3x the entertainment, The IDOL KINGS play awesome tribute to Tom Petty, Journey and John Mellencamp, three of the most influential artists from the 80 & rock era. All are performed by one talented group of musicians!

Okay, what the heck, let’s throw a little Monday action in here too.

Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze

Glenn Tilbrook TF

Mention Glenn Tilbrook and most people may immediately think of Squeeze. After all, with his writing partner Chris Difford, Tilbrook was responsible for Top Ten hits all around the world such as “Tempted”, “Hourglass”, “Cool For Cats” and “Up The Junction”.

Tilbrook loves blurring the boundary between crowd and performer by performing requests and even taking his audience for walkabouts to impromptu gigs. I know this, because he’s taken a few walkabouts up West Street with his guitar and a room full of Rams Head fans that last few times he’s been here!
