Wine & Canvas: A Painting Class With Cocktails

Wine and Canvas is a mobile business that’s bringing the party to us. Their talented artists will instruct you step-by-step through re-creating the featured painting of the day (see below), while enjoying your favorite cocktail. At the end of the event, you’ll take home a work of art that you created… Ta DA!

An Annapolis Christmas
Monday & Tuesday, December 16 & 17

Join your favorite local artists as they perform a mix of original and classic holiday songs, all on one stage. This show was inspired by the release of the popular holiday album, “An Annapolis Christmas” 15 years ago, and is now an annual tradition for many local music lovers. All proceeds from this show support the Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians, Inc. (AMFM)

Heavily influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan and played with Vaughan’s old band, Double Trouble. He has since shared the bill with B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Charlie Musselwhite, John Hammond, Susan Tedeschi, Tommy Castro, Chris Duarte, Bernard Allison, the Neville Brothers, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Sheryl Crow, and Duke Robillard.

Stanley Jordan

Stanley Jordan’s discovery in the early ’80s rightfully earned a lot of headlines in the jazz world as he came up with a new way of playing guitar. Jordan’s extensive expertise gave him the ability to play two completely independent lines on the guitar (as if it were a keyboard) or, when he wanted, two guitars at a time. Jordan has received four Grammy nominations. His most recent album “Friends” was nominated for an NAACP Image Award. Los Angeles Times jazz critic Leonard Feather wrote, “Genius is a word often tossed around in musical circles, but it has been rightfully applied to Stanley Jordan.”
