Rickie Lee Jones – 2nd Night Added
Wednesday, October 23

(DOORS TO OPEN AT 6PM)
GENRE: Folk/Pop

Her first show will be a few days earlier on October 20th. Due to popular demand we were able to add a 2nd show.

Her songwriting has been characterized as “a blend of bravado and vulnerability that wavers on indefinable borders. She is also known for her unique singing style, especially in live performances.

Over the course of a career of over three decades, Rickie Lee Jones has recorded in various musical styles including rock, R&B, blues, pop, soul, and jazz standards. One concert reviewer, describing her rendering of “We Belong Together,” states she “reached her apex, skating from swells into near screams into breathy whispers, from pointillist staccato scats into brassy, trumpetlike bursts.” Wow that’s quite descriptive!

For Fans of: Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, Michelle Shocked

Burton Cummings
Tuesday, November 12

GENRE: Pop/Rock/Folk

One of the great voices in rock, Burton Cummings, the famed lead singer, keyboardist and co-writer for The Guess Who scored an unprecedented string of international hit singles and albums including “These Eyes”, “No Time”, “American Woman” and “Share The Land”, (to name a few) all written or co-written by Burton. This is a unique opportunity to see a solo performance with just Burton and his guitar player. “An Evening With Burton Cummings”.. as it were..

For Fans of: The Guess Who, April Wine, John Fogarty, Art Garfunkel

Dave Davies
Wednesday, November 13

GENRE: Pop/Rock

I am particularly psyched that Dave Davies is coming. You grow up listening to a particular band or type of music, never knowing that “one day” he/she/they will be parked out front and ready to jam a mere few yards from you! Mr. Davies founded the Kinks in the early 1960s and forever changed music after he sliced up the speaker cone of a little green amp and created a revolutionary, distorted guitar tone and frenetic solo on the song “You Really Got Me.” Always an innovator, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dave Davies has worked on a slew of critically acclaimed records, ranging from solo hit song “Death Of A Clown” to experimental Kinks records like Village Green Preservation Society, Arthur and classic song “Lola” in the 70s. He’ll rock your socks off “All Day And All Of The Night!”

For Fans of: The Kinks, Ray Davies, The Move, Roger Daltrey

Gin Blossoms
Tuesday, November 19

GENRE: Pop/Rock

A decade and a half since defining that era’s post grunge pop rock experience with “Hey Jealousy,” “Found Out About You” and the Top Ten Billboard pop hits “Till I Hear It From You” and “Follow You Down”—and four years since the release of a Major Lodge Victory—an album Billboard called “an effortless triumph of melodic perfection”—Gin Blossoms are still at the top of their game. From the band’s birth in their hometown of Tempe,Arizona, their fan base grew quickly as they earned a great reputation as a live act. Readers of the Phoenix New Times chose them as the city’s best rock band, qualifying them to play at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin,Texas in March, 1989. Later that year, CMJ dubbed them the “Best Unsigned Band in America” and invited them to play MTV’s New Music Awards in New York City.

For Fans of: Better Than Ezra, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Sister Hazel, Spin Doctors

O’Malley’s March
Thursday, December 26

GENRE: Celtic Rock

The region’s favorite Celtic rockers are back for a rollicking evening of traditional and original tunes along with seasonal classics. O’Malley’s March thrives on the momentum of Martin’s own brand of internal, “Celtic Fusion”.

For Fans of: Shane MacGowan, Christy Moore, Scythian,Dublin 5

Tab Benoit
Monday & Tuesday, March 3 & 4

GENRE: Blues

Tab Benoit is a Cajun man who’s definitely got the blues. Born November 17, 1967, he grew up in Houma, Louisiana. A guitar player since his teenage years, he hung out at the Blues Box, a ramshackle music club and cultural center in nearby Baton Rouge run by guitarist Tabby Thomas. Playing guitar alongside Thomas, Raful Neal, Henry Gray and other high-profile regulars at the club, Benoit learned the blues first-hand from a faculty of living blues legends. He always puts on such a great show and we are happy to have him back!
