The Monday Hangover: Shark Week Edition

If you’re a shark week fan, chances are you stayed up last night watching Megalodon: The Monster Shark Lives (recap here), the kick-off of shark week. And whether or not you believe Megalodon still lives (apparently 69% of people polled last night do), hopefully you were sippin’ on some shark week inspired cocktails.

Things got a little crazy this morning in Annapolis:

If you’re feelin’ fishy this week stop by Rams Head for some seafood (and grab a Landshark beer!):

Dos Amigos Fish Tacos: Fordham beer battered Alaskan pollock and crunchy coleslaw folded into two warm, flour tortillas with chipolte aioli. Served with black beans, rice and guacamole.

Summer Trout: Rainbow trout lightly dusted with cajun spiced then baked. Finished with refreshing strawberry, crack black pepper and basil salad.

Crab Dip Elitist:  Spicy cream cheese baked and topped with lump crab meat and served with baguette and pita bread.

Shrimp Salad Sandwich: Whole large shrimp tossed in a spicy seafood dressing with chopped celery and garlic. Served on toasted brioche.

Crab Melt: Our crab cake toasted on an English muffin with sliced tomato and muenster cheese.

Pacific Rim Burger: Topped with cheddar cheese and an onion ring filled with our crab dip on a potato roll.

Salmont BLT: Fresh filet of salmon on flat bread with fresh dill aioli and crisp bacon. Served with fries and a pickle

Jamaican Tuna: Jerk spiced tuna steak seared rare, wrapped in a flour tortilla with avocado, diced pineapple, mango, shredded cabbage and teriyaki sauce. Served with fries and a pickle $13

And if you’re lookin’ for even more fun this week check out this Shark Week drinking game to play with your favorite beer… and by beer we mean Dominion’s Root Beer (we don’t want you to have a Tuesday hangover too):

See Slightly Stoopid at Pier Six Pavilion this Sunday for some beachy/reggae tunes and catch the breeze off the water. Buy tickets here
