Two cool “All Ages Matinee” shows this weekend at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis

Are you looking for something to do with the kids this weekend? And have you been looking to expose them to more arts-related activities in the way of live music? You might be happy to learn that we have just the thing for you!

Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis has an ongoing “All Ages Matinee” series of concerts that take place several times a month on the weekends. It’s a great way to introduce and expose the under-21 crowd to live music and the performing arts, while enjoying some lunch from our On Stage Menu while you watch the show.

On Saturday May 18th at 1 p.m., we have an up-and-coming group called Kopecky Family Band, presented by WRNR.

The New York Times recently wrote a really nice piece on this hip, new band. For a sample of their upbeat pop/rock sound, check out the You Tube link below:

And on Sunday May 19th at 1:30 p.m. we are hosting upcoming Country-Star, Ashley Forrest’s CD Release party.

With her 2013 debut album, Crofton native Ashley Forrest is set to make a strong impression on Country music fans everywhere.

Earlier this year, the 24-year-old singer finished recording her first full-length album in Nashville, an experience that paired Forrest with Grammy-nominated Country music producer Mark Moffatt. Under Moffatt’s expert direction, and armed with a collection of songs from some of Music City’s finest songwriters, the resulting album turned out much like Ashley herself: polished, poised, and with just the right amount of attitude and mischief for good measure! To read more on Ashely Forrest, check out our recent blog post.
