The Monday Hangover

It’s the Monday after Oriole’s Opening Day… if you live in the state of Maryland you are definitely hungover. Yes, I realize Opening Day was last Friday (and what an insane win! Check out Davis’ grand slam here). We took a quick picture before heading to Baltimore.

This past week was quite eventful for Rams Head. We had a beer release on Thursday (don’t miss our next one May 2nd!), and a food tasting for new menu items. Our chefs really impressed us with their creations. This is about 1/4 of what we had to “suffer” through for you!

Meet the Bomb Burger:

Talk about a hangover helper! A burger topped with bacon, onion straws, cheese and an egg. Count us in!

These were a clear crowd favorite:

Crabby Tots. Tater tots topped with our famous crab dip. We basically fought over them and no, I won’t disclose who basically licked the plate (it wasn’t me!)

But we have your health in mind, too!

Sliced grape tomatoes and feta cheese appetizer. SO good!

We haven’t decided which items have made the cut, but you’ll be the first to know!

Because we’re all about Food, Fun, & Beer (and music!) I figured I’d share this… it’s a list created by Paste Magazine of music inspired beers.  Music AND beer? Sa-weet. Who wants to create a playlist and then try each one with me?

And for a random insane event, just in case you want to do as the Spaniards do and Run With The Bulls in the United States. Don’t worry, only 15 deaths have occurred in Pamplona in the running of the bulls in the past 102 years. How much would someone have to pay you to do it? Leave me a note in the comments below, I really do want to know.

Beer of the Week

This week’s choice was an easy one. Released last week at our beer release party, Wisteria Wheat marks the official kick-off to spring. Wisteria Wheat is a Hefeweizen style beer with a medium body, soft velvety carbonation, and a wheaty finish. Basically, it reminds us of lazy days and tastes like summer in a glass. On tap at Rams Head! (Thanks for the photo Ryan)
