Shows for (Your) Kids

Parents looking for something to do with their kids should take a look at calendars at Rams Head Live and Pier Six Pavilion. Some great shows your kids are going to be REALLY excited for you to take them to include:

Victoria Justice – July 26th

This summer, Justice (the star of Nickelodeon’s Victorious) will perform at Pier Six. Justice’s star continues to rise, as the 19 year-old is a budding sensation in both music and fashion worlds alike. Her debut CD, the soundtrack from Victorious, cracked the Billboard Top 5 and a number of her songs have already turned into bonafide smashes, including the driving “Freak the Freak Out,” which has sold more than 600,000 copies on iTunes. Other hit singles off the record include “Beggin’ On Your Knees,” “Best Friend’s Brother,” and the show’s theme song “Make it Shine.” Combined the album’s first four singles have surpassed 1.8 million total digital downloads on iTunes to date.

R5 (featuring Ross Lynch of Austin and Ally) – April 25th

Does your son or daughter watch Disney’s Austin and Ally? Well, actor Ross Lynch, who plays Austin Moon on the TV show, tours with his siblings Riker, Rydel, Rocky and Ross Lynch, along with best friend Ratliff as R5. Not surprisingly, like other Disney alumni Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato, this group is getting a lot of attention. Tickets are just $18 in advance and $20 at the door. We suggest getting them sooner than later….

Milkshake – CD RELEASE PARTY!!! – April 14th

If your kids are kindergarten age or younger, you are probably familiar with Grammy award winning children’s group Milkshake. The Baltimore based band just released their fifth CD recording, Got a Minute?, and we are stoked to have them doing their release party here at Rams head Live. The disc features 33 short songs, inspired by their project for PBS KIDS where the band set about writing songs no longer than 2 minutes – perfect for our own (kids AND adults) shrinking attention span.
