It’s not an easy task finding the perfect combination when mixing spicy and sweet but our February beer release brew took the challenge head on and created a winning taste.
Join us on Thursday from 4 – 6 PM for a beer release party, when we release Hoodwinked, a jalapeno stout. Hoodwinked is part of a 14 barrel series, and is brewed specifically for Rams Head. Once the kegs are kicked, you won’t be able to find this stout again, so you better get it while it’s hot (pun intended).
The folks over at Fordham Brewing ventured a bit outside of the box to come up with this crazy good concoction. It was an easy batch to name, once we saw the list of ingredients. Hoodwinked, sure to be a little deceiving, has an Oak Barrel Stout base with Jalapeno, Habanero, and Chipotle Peppers added, spiced with lemon peels, lemongrass, honey and coriander. 6% ABV / 8 IBUs
