Baltimore Based Musicians/Celebrities Rallying Around Orioles

Oriole Fever has consumed the City.  Ravens players have it. Baltimore-born celebrities, like The Good Wife’s Josh Charles, are posting like crazy as well. (see below) As can be expected, a lot of our favorite Baltimore musicians are gearing up for the postseason as well. Joan Jett wrote a letter to the team last week, admitting that she keeps her IPad on the stage at recent shows to check scores. She’s not alone – here is what some other Charm City bands, musicians and celebrities are Tweeting and Facebooking today as we get ready for Texas tonight:

We are in! #BUCKleup @Orioles made it into the post season! I’ve been waiting a long time for this. I’m definitely flying to the first game.

Congratulations to the Orioles for a great regular season and making it to the playoffs!! #BUCKleUp!

Big night, Let’s Go O’s

Unfortuantely, we did get the Mike Greenberg Kiss of Death. Greenberg, notorious for picking EVERYTHING wrong on ESPN’s Mike and Mike in the Morning show, picked the O’s today.

AL #KOD: Gimme #Orioles to survive & advance. One game with its own roster, I don’t ever bet against Buck in this scenario. Baltimore wins.
